BagRun came out of a contracting business, not a startup incubator. The problem it solves is one we had first: a crew standing around because the material is thirty minutes away and the only person free to fetch it is the one you least want to send.
So the design starts from the driver's side. A driver who can't fill a day doesn't stay, and a board with no drivers is worth nothing to a contractor. Everything follows from that.
Real routes
Standing work booked by the week, not scraps posted at random. Predictability is the product.
Real pay
No cut, no percentage, no payout schedule. Drivers are paid directly by the business that hired them.
Real respect
Dispatch is proximity, rotation, and rating — never who paid the most. You can see where you ranked on any run you were offered.
